We believe young people should not merely be beneficiaries of agricultural development — they should be active innovators, entrepreneurs, farmers, environmental stewards, and leaders shaping how their communities grow food, protect natural resources, and build resilient livelihoods.
Every program YIFO runs sits at the intersection of five ideas: young people can transform agriculture; innovation makes farming more productive and resilient; climate-smart practices are essential for resilient communities; natural resources must be protected alongside livelihoods; and youth empowerment should lead to real economic and community opportunity.
